Default Farewell

After 11 years of scooby ownwership it was sad to see my pride and joy rumble down the street for the last time, driven by the arms and legs of another man

The scooby is sold. . I've had some great times and met some fabulous people along the journey of Subaru ownership. Indulge me while I post some highlights of memorable times.

Where it all began.

Number 2

Number 3

Some good links to past meets.

MWR 2 as featured in True Grip

MWR 7

Farewell for now..................

Thanks gents, the Mid Wales Runs really were something special. My favorite section had to be the lanes between the Black Mountains and Llandovery, fast and flowing.

Memorable moments
Pushing a Fiat and hippy up a snow covered devils staircase.
Richie handbraking going down the Devils Staircase
Christian overshooting a hairpin and getting it in the mud.
Chasing Lee Mac across Black Mountains heading south, so smooth.
Standing on my Brembos and carrying out an emergency stop while watching Group Captain stand on his 2 pots close behind
Working out my fuel economy after a run - 14mpg
Though it sounds foolhardy there were never any incidents. Chris G always lead with a level head and never let the red mist descend.

Anyone know what happened to Darren and my first car?

Good times............

Shame on you!

What oil burning catholic wagon have you replaced it with Mike?

Had a few great runs with Mike at the Helm. Can't listen to "I like the way you move" without a grin thanks to Mark's videos.

Cheers Fella, I hope the new baby is keeping you honest?

Hi Gazz
Haven't replaced it yet, still reading the mags. Looking for a runabout for work. Type R, R26, GTI, 123D, 320D maybe even a liitle Clio 197. Not in a rush but will buy with my head and not my heart.

Babies well, Christened her today and had a jolly good knees up.

Great times.............
