Default how low would you go ????

was running on fumes i guess


called in the garage before i ran out though

how low does yours go?? any one actually run out with 2 cans in the boot to see how many miles you actually get to a gallon 4.54 litres

Well when my fuel light comes on, I have 9 gallons left apparently, and I've gone a very long way on it ! Most I've ever managed to put back in the tank is 55litres too !

do you mean 9 litres
not a good idea to run you car out of fuel

250 miles to a tank if iam lucky

i used to think petrol in my wrx was crap but thats because i only used to put £20 a week and it was always on the petrol light but i started to fill it up and it lasts alot longer even driving the same miles each week only to work and back i put less than £20 in

Same here, was told it can cause fuel starvation when being driven hard leading to lean running.

I've had the fuel light on loads of times, not that I'm tight but I only ever fill it up, I don't think I've ever just stuck a £10/£20 in. 57 litres is the most I've ever managed to get in.

I've heard about the 1/4 tank thing but Mine is pushed every time I get in it, 113K and still going strong!!!!!

I know i might sound like a crazy person, but in almost 2 years of ownership my light may have only come on a dozen times...............but it doesnt seem to come on until the needle drops to the same point as Drive's above

I cant be bothered to run around on fumes, it costs just as much to run around full as empty so why give yourself the grief + as others have said its not good for the motor
