Finally got myself a 360 Elite this week (well they were on offer.....that's what I told the missus ) and I've got Forza 2 which is quite popular online so I'm told.

Got bloody wireless broadband on the pc next to the big tv that the xbox is connected to, so I'm stuffed for online gaming til I sort out a wired connection

You may get one for about 40 quid and its alot easier..... no wires etc, my router is down stairs by the phone and my pc and xbox are upstairs.....no problems here.

Russ I'm trying to get through Halo 3 myself... Just got to the "flood ship" level (that has crash landed)... Boy is it hard on normal...

Gears Of War is a top game, played it to death months ago...

Not been on XBOX Live in ages... Now starting to get back into it again with Halo 3...

Hi Richie, before Halo 3 came out you'd catch me on line most nights playing Gears of war, fantastic game, but with work, Rugby world cup, family (Hogging TV ) any spare time I have Im trying to work my way around Halo3, I promised myself before I go on line with it I would at least complete it on normal but yeah if Im on line I'll give you a shout, send an invite etc It a fab game, Im lucky though the Mrs is really enjoying watching it so if theres nothing on tv she tells me to put the egg box on (She calls it the egg box).

what is halo 3 like i dont know whether to get that or wait till team fortress 2 comes out on xbox later this month

Halo 3 is awesome, if you like Dirt then Forza 2 is worth a look as well.
