up pipe info
just wondering if i should replace the up pipe on my 2.5wrx my06 with a de-cat, has anyone done this and are there any gains? she's 330/350 on power station rollers and the guy behind the desk said that cat will be hiting the power, but couldnt say by how much, what you think?

from what little knowledge i have from my scoob, any type of cat is going to be restricting, but if you do change it make sure you get a decent replacement section, like from scooby world.

Sorry to jump on this thread but I've just booked my car in with Prospeed in Cardiff to replace the up pipe. They are doing a custom pipe for my WRX. Will I need a remap after this is done or will the engine management system be able to 'adapt'?

330/350 disapointed with that figure suspected a problem so investigated and found intercooler pipe come away from turbo, rectified it with a new pipe but no time for another run. mods are; full revolution 3" system with 100 cell cat, zero sports intake kit and pipe kit, pfr7 plugs, sytec uprated fuel pump, td05-20g turbo, sti-v8 intercooler, andy forest tec 3 custom map (ecutec), wraped pipes. andy estimated 360-390bhp so i was gutted with 330 but i'll go up again when the up pipes fitted.
