A Big Thanks....
To the **** that dented my passenger door in Somerfields car park last night 
a silver mpv type thing that was not next to me after I got back to the car after 10 minutes

I was gone a couple of minutes that's all... I know it was not there before this and spotted it straight away when I moved the car this morning... to say I am evil about it is an understatment, they knew what they did on that I am sure... if your parked next to a scrapper you don't care but when there is something nice next to you normaly you take greater care unless you are one of those people that do it on purpose... Up until this I had managed to keep the door smooth. More expence now and I can't get on Julians GB as I have no spare week days off for a long while yet.

Thanks Ian... it's not a nasty one but it is there on the high part and is prominant, it will come out easy enough but that's not the point.
No spare time in the week is not helping me at all. I don't think there is paintwork issues but I need to clean the car to check on that... staying away from looking at it at the moment though until I have counted to 10 a few more times.

Well pissed off for you mate!!
People just have no respect at all. Simular thing happened to me 2 weeks after picking my car up. I was parked miles away from anyone at Story Arms and some stupid tart in an Escort ready for the scrappy pulled along side and slammed the door into my drivers side!! I went nuts and she said i was over reacting then licked her finger and tried to rub the mark off!!!!!
I swear i have never come so close to hitting a woman in my life, it still makes me angry now just thinking about it so i know how you feel!

*on saying that, they could ding you, leave and someone else could be in their place by the time you get back

If I HAVE to park next to a car then I take their reg number and make/model etc!!

i felt the same as you si when mine was done in tescos mate so now i take up two spaces if i go to a super market , and when they look in disgust i just think

I agree. I always take two spaces as well, including at work. I couldn't give a **** whether people think I'm 'parking irresponsibly' because it isn't their car, it's mine and I'm proud of it and don't want it damaged by some inconsiderate ar5ehole who sees a car as a means of getting from A to B and nothing else.

Gutting isnt it - when I got my car there were no dings on the passengers side, just one small one on each of the driver side doors.
From parking in Tesco western avenue while shopping, ended up with SIX in the passenger side rear door - this was six seperate occasions and on none of them did someone leave a note on the car.
One of the reasons I now order online and get the shopping delivered - funnily enough since doing this the doors havent picked up any more knocks ( have bought a spare door to replace the worst one when I get round to fitting it ! )
Worst was the 7th one was when my wife took the car to work, and parked in the school carpark and one of the other teachers left a 4 inch long dent in the same door !!!! Its only a small primary school, so doesnt have many staff, and all the people there know its my car - and did the person responsible own up - did they 80llocks.
Really annoys me, OK I know Impreza bodywork is made of coke cans so dents very easily, but the fact people think its OK to damage someone elses property and then not do anything about it - makes you wonder how far they would take it - would they drive off if they ran over someone ?

Good ol Somerfield car park!! God knows how many dings are in my door from that place!!
When i got my car there wasnt a mark on its but its dinged up nicley now!!
Makes me laugh in that car park though you can go and park well way from everyone else but when you get back you can guarente someone will be parked next to you!!
