Won an eBay thingy and its a collection only item (not that big/heavy, guess he doesn't like doing couriers etc).

Would anyone be able/prepared to collect it and hold it until I can get a courier down the M4? It's North of the M4 J45 - Morriston?

You can book an online collection with Parcelforce - just put the sellers name in as the collection address, and your address as the delivery one.

Ask the seller to package it up and address it to you, you can book any day and specify a rough collection time to suit them.
