Dan,

Had these tyres and was very dissapointed with them. The tyre wall is far too soft, as is the compound so i only got 7,000 out of a full set.

Have since moved on to Goodyear F1's - a million miles better than T1-S's in everyway.

Thanks Guys,

Rob, I have four on the car presently and i have found them to be a very good tyre. Thanks for the input though. I agree that the tyre wall is soft.

I have to agree that my Toyo's are not what I expected. They had a real good write up but I've done them in after two track sessions

Still now's a good time to try something else.

Got mine in Atlas Tyres in Cathays in Cardiff.. can't remember what I paid but it wasn't that expensive.. also I think they are a fitting centre for Black Circles.

Dan,

I got mine from Atlas Tyres (02920344830) who priced matched Mytyres.co.uk.

There are good at looking after the wheels while fitting as well. (just be warey of the dropped curb when pulling in the garage!)

If you do get F1's get the Y rated tyre. The lesser rated tyres have been prone to splitting.

Well again, looking at camskill which is one of the cheapest online its near enough identical price to Toyos - £97:

GOODYEAR TYRES / CAR / GOODYEAR F1 GSD3 EAGLE GOODYEAR F 1 GSD 3 - 225/40R18 92Y XL : £97.00 : Car Tyres - MPV Tyres - People Carrier Tyres : R18" - 225/40/18, 225/40 R 18 -

I bought one tyre the other day from Celtic Tyres and it was £96 all in, but the size was 215/40 17 - F1s.

Incidentally, if you do decide to buy tyres from somewhere like Camskill or Mytyres, Celtic Tyres charge £10 a corner to fit/balance etc. Bathwick tyres on Coity Road (which I normally go to as they really close to me in Litchard) charge £17 a corner!!
