Falken Tyres ?
Im going to be getting some new rubber for the scoob on Friday (Day off ), I phoned up Atlas as they are highly recommended on here, I was looking to be putting on Avon ZZ3, I asked them if they fitted them and they said they try not to they highly recommended Falkens, now I have heard they they wear out very fast, can anybody tell me any different. If you have them what is the ride like, have they got good grip in the wet and dry.
Cheers in advance for any replies.

Used to have Falkens on my 106 Gti and they were pretty sticky tyres in wet and dry. Cant really comment on how long they las as I sold the car 6 months later. Seemed tidy though!

I have just swapped back to front after 10,000 miles. Nothing wrong but it's just a thing I do. Got mine direct from FALKENTYRES.CO.UK - BUY FALKEN TYRES ONLINE, DELIVERED TO YOUR DOOR! , much cheaper and delivered price. Your looking at £260 for a set delivered on a set of FK452's
If you ask VC I think he will vouch for the grip after the MWR this Sunday, but good in the damp stuff too. Gis a ring Russ.

Avoid the Avons !! - I tried a set, and I'll be polite as say that they didn't give me any confidence (being blunt.......they were sh1te). I know the Toyo's are well liked, and seem a good all round tyre - but can't comment on the Falkens.
Used to used Bridgestone SO2, but the last 7 or 8 sets have been Eagle F1s.

The garage where Im going on Friday told me these were good, but you have to wonder are they on major commission selling these or are they doing it out of the goodness of their own hearts, its awful being this sceptical these days We'll see come Friday they are going on regardless I know the fellas down the garage are good and they have a good reputation on here as well.
