Defi's
I'm about to order the 60mm Defi's for the car but i'm not sure which one's i need.....
I've had a price for the Oil Pressure, Oil Temp and Turbo Boost
Will i require the boost gauge though ? as i plan to purchase the Apexi-AVCR boost controller and this has an electronic display of the boost
What do i go for ???

hiya mate,
Thats exactly what you need mate. I went for all 3 on my evo..Go for oil press, oil temp and boost. That way you can mount all 3 together in a pod of some sorts then. The avcr does have a readout for boost as far as im aware but you are better off with the defi boost readout aswel as you can position it directly in front of you then + it looks excellent, the avcr acts as a secondardy check anyway and ive got a feeling it maybe quite hard to read when driving although dont quote me on that.. pending how you are going to fit them you may need a sandwich plate for the sump also which attaches the oil press and oil temp sensors. Think greddy do them.

Personnly i wouldn't bother with the boost gauge if your fitting an AVC-R, why would you want the same info displayed twice??
Get Oil Pressure and Temp and then something else, maybe Fuel Pressue / Coolant Temp / EGT Temp

does the avcr have a playback function, if not then go with defi boost + the others as this has a playback and is very useful especially when the avcr is out the way ie, down by the gear change, out of sight..
