Get yourself a little track car for about £1k maybe abit less, my 205 was £750 fully kitted out, well almost anyway.

Easy to repair and not costly incase something goes wrong, I tell you what Richy, the next time i'm at Llandow or castle combe come over and I'll show you what a little 205 is like on the track because I was well surprised.

I'm unsure about taking my car on the track aswell, don't fancy having to repair it if something goes wrong.

I know the feeling i'm the same, also been on the farrari day up in chippin norton and yes they can keep it, fast but gear box is not easy enough for everyday, crazy car, i'll stick to the scooby, quicker, easier and alot more fun and it's mine

I'm off to Germany for the Easter weekend, staying somewhere called Nurburg, apparently there's some sort of track around there

Couldn't tempt you with this Rich?

Just one question vc. On all of our little runs have you only been driving on half throttle ? Plus I thought your not allowed to race on a track day . To me if you haven't got any issues with your car get it on there

If I had a new clutch then I'd be on there

I had the same tug of love but having watched lots of YouTube footage of Castle Combe it's goota be done

I'm aiming at April and May and see how I go from there.

I have done a number of track day's on a motorbike and the only one;s who came a cropper were the one's you would expect.

Gung Ho from the start you just let them go and enjoy.

YOU GAVE TO DO IT

richie would'nt tell you but he's actually a very tidy motoxcross rider ,the last race he took part in really was his last race , he had the holeshot led the race until the last lap i was so proud and every one was amazed at his style considering he had'nt raced for a while then he hit a table top i bet you can't guess what happened next? he landed on a back marker i was'nt worth tupence when the commentater asked for the ambulance in actual fact the foot peg had punctured his calf, the swining arm was found in his GROINplus a nasty hip injury this happened prob at the speed of 50 mph so what could happen at 150 mph.Richie's attitude is you just can't participate you win plus he knows i'll kill him if he hurts himself again he got to grow up sometime
oh and just remembered the time when i went into labour and he had a plaster on his leg after taking his mother two up on a bike had to get me to cut the plaster of his leg to get me to hospital then i had to push him in the wheelchair and it was me that was in labour

Top tip, you can have more fun when you're not too worried about a little scrape or repair
