Default Brembo's Clunking!!!

Hi Guys (and Yan!)

Came home from work yesterday and as i pulled up to the house and my near side front brake made a clunking noise when i pressed the pedal . It sounded like the piston retracts and when i press the brake it hits the back of the pad.
It does not happen all the time just now and then.

I emailed Iain Litchfield and he said it is a common thing with brembos but would have a look at them if i wanted.

Can anyone throw any light on this

Julian

P.S. Go on Yan Flame me!!!!

This use to happen on my last 330mm Alcon front brake kit (not Prodive). It was one of the pistons getting seized, as they did not have dust seals (i.e. they were made for the track not road).

This is common, however not something you would expect on expensive callipers...

Mine don't make any noise apart from applying the brake whilst reversing
