Default very bad idle probs

hi guys any ideas i have a massive problem whenever i come to a stop on boost or just miss daisy my car will not idle and fells like it is going to cut out all the time which is a pain in the bum any 1 got any ideas

It could be your idle valve control.............. Do the revs sit at 1000rpm when at a stop or does it cut out.

Please let me know!

probably either the Idle Control Valve or the MAF.

no it constantly hunts from 200 rpm- 1500 rpm

Thats exactly what mine did the first time my MAF went mate. Lights would go dim and almost stall when it dropped down to 200rpm

For 99-00 definatly new mate, they break very easily so not worth getting a second hand one, i'm on my 3rd so far.
They are just under £80 from dealers, make sure they quote you just for the sensor and not the entire unit, if you have problems i've got the part number somewhere.

just make sure you havent got a big air leak in the induction first
check all the joints are OK

have you done anything to the car recently?

As siad, check all the joints on the FMIC. If you've got a VTA dump valve, check the bung is in there, Mine popped off once and made it idle all over the place.

If that doesn't work, Check the MAF
