Default Eibachs Fitting

Hello All,

I'm back in work so can't make any Thursday meets again

I have just bought some newish second hand Eibachs from someone on here.

Q1: Where would you recommend to have them fitted near Bridgend?

Q2: How long do you think it will take/how much approx. do you think it will cost?

Cheers,

Ian.

P.S Thanks to those peeps who were trying to help me decide how to fit my fog covers on the August meet, but I still haven't done them!!

However, I have bought and fitted some STi rears

My mate charged Ian SWsportpilot £80-£100 i think, fronts are easy to do take about 10mins each side, back are a nightmare coz u have to take the rear seats out and the bolts at the top of the struts are really hard to get at.

Lights look great BTW

SHG (Station Hill Garage) By The bingo hall at the top of town are very good.

Ask for Jon, The forman, He will not rip you off, I've had non Scooby work done over the years with them, and have found them Excellent for customer service and price.

I normally use SHG, but a while ago there was a lot of negative comments made about them so I was considering other options.

TBH, I've always found them very good but after all the comments, I just thought I had been lucky.

Didn't realise the seats had to come out!

And thanks, very pleased with the lights - nearly got the car to where I want now, but I can't stop researching bigger turbos......don't tell the missus

further to deans comments, His mate charged me 120 quid to have the springs replaced with my H&R springs(all 4 of the shocks were replaced at same time and not charged for as they moved anyway ) my 18"s were fitted and then the car had an alignment. Couldnt fault his service and my car will be going back there when droplinks and arb's are changed.

Car looks great with the sti - rears, really got to get mine fitted

Cheers

Ian

If it helps, when I fitted my STI rear lights, I mounted the fog light in one of the lights itself. Used a hole cutter and mounted it where the UK fog light usually sits (its blank on the STIs)

Only problem was the plastic flash from the hole fell into the light cluster itself. I filled it with water and washed the flash out. Left in airing cupboard for a few days and all OK.

Hope that helps.

I might go to Powerstation actually, enjoyed the drive there when I had my remap - especially on the way back

Thanks for the fog light tip - I'm a lazy bugger though, I'll probably leave it to MOT time!
