Well we can always ask the fellas in the cctv room and security before hand. Usually find if you ask first ,there won't be a problem providing nothing stupid is planned.

We could do this on Thursday. Be aware that there is a speed camera on the Penarth side heading towards IKEA. Sneaky *******!!!!

It just happens that it coincides this year (and last) with repairs to the Queen Elizabeth bridge over the Thames at dartford (the big one) and this means that they open the dartford tunnels up to north and southbound traffic.
We usually have a huge convoy through the dartford tunnels then head into london to take in the blackwall, rotherhithe and limehouse link tunnels. Last year we continued straight into the city to flame the tourists before heading back to the dartford tunnels at about midnight. We then kind of slow right down to let the traffic disappear from in front of us and then blast our way through the tunnel making maximum noise, turn around and then come back through again.
It's a great laugh and to be able to see the tourists faces as loads of stickered up flame spewing cars scream by is a treat

Ermmmm, just go for it. Everyone is reasonably well behaved. we cruise along in convoy at about 40 mph in a 70mph. It's more about the sight and the sound rather than speed. we have had no trouble so far and bear in mind that the police have us on CCTV from Docklands into the city so they know we are coming..

Well we got a few choices really , do we do it this thursday, so go along to the meet as usual,leave there about 9ish to head for cardiff tunnel and back through Newport tunnel.
Or arrange it for a weekend in about a fortnight and fit in cardiff,newport and monmouth tunnels.
Or next mopnths meet.
What do you think guys?
And remember its just a bit of fun, no speed limits broken yeah.

Evening all
Just thought id mention that either the the SWC or the SW-CC Had a massive cruise event that took place down in the car park of ASDA Yesterday and even with the event not mentioned on the websites with a "follow the white rabbit set up" The police presence was in effect quite quickly and efficiently from what i was told. They may have their eye on this area for a while just in case another turns up and as was mentioned previously cctv and control room is smack on the tunnel itself.
Just thought id mention this, Think il give a tunnel run a miss

I suppose with this just being a cruise and a drive through a tunnel where no law is broken then there is no problem .
I know with SWC you get some boy racers doing their donuts in a carpark etc which will draw attention from everyone including the plod.
But what we have planned is nothing like that. We are all too old for donuts now. exceptions to FMS of course.
Come to think of it we do it everytime we come through the tunnel when meeting up with you all and we have had no trouble from it ,there is usually about 6 scoobs have a rumble in the jungle.
