My visit to Powerstation - the results
As you may know I went to Powerstation today to have my full Scoobysport system fitted. It took a lot longer than expected due to it being ill fitting (thanks to Fuzz for persevering) - apparently part of the exhaust was slightly too short and the up pipe was very hard to seat properly. Fingers crossed it all stays in place!!!
Anyway, the results are superb and even though the end BHP figure is not quite as high as I was hoping for, the difference is fantastic with masses of extra torque.
Previous (from memory):
265bhp
348Nm torque (256lb/ft)
Now:
275.3bhp
377.3Nm (~277lb/ft) @ 4050rpm
The net result - it goes like **** and is a completely different animal. Plus the new sound is unbelievable. A little more intrusive but a proper 'growl' now.
Superb.

Thanks people.
John - yes, it's the full decat that went on. I quoted the wrong original BHP figure pre-decat, it was just over 261 not 265. That makes an increase of just over 14bhp, I've also calculated the lb/ft torque using a conversion utility - 278.28lb/ft, over 22lb/ft more than before.
Ian - the growl it gives off under load is unbelievable.
Gaz - VERY nice brake setup on the Spec C GP, pricey though at ~£1600+VAT (although cheaper than the AP Racing setup )
My graph (again, thanks Fuzzy).

Seems about right for a full decat on a uk car.
I had 274BHp on mine before the FMIC and turbo change.
You should notice that the turbo will spool up slightly faster with the decat and with the Max torque at only at 4K RPM this should perform much better on the road.
Happy days

Been back up to PS today to have the map looked at again due to it feeling like it was bogging down in 4/5th gears.
After a few tweaks of the wastegate duty cycle map(s), the car's now delivering power really nicely and made 182bhp on the rollers, up 7bhp from last week (can't remember the torque figure but it was also higher).
The main thing is it's much livelier in the high gears.

I know what you mean Kev, ONLY 18bhp short....
But seriously, I'm finished with the power and only need some Prodrive headlights, colour codes side skirts, a front splitter, STi interior and AP Racing 4 pots and I'm done.
The I can sell up and buy one of:-
- Nissan 350Z
- Spec C
- VX220 Turbo

Good man Fuzz, thanks very much. I've saved it so you can take it down if you like.
282.6bhp and 282.04lb/ft torque - well happy with those figures.
scuubdoo - Gaz is correct, I had a Walbro 255 fitted in preparation for the original ecutek remap last year but I am still running the original injectors.
I'm really pleased with the results, my only (slight) regret is that I didn't get a VF28 put on while the up pipe was being done. I did think about it but couldn't justify the additional costs, however I've seen a few go for reasonable money recently so if I'd been a bit more patient and waited for the decat, I could've gone for it. Never mind, I'm more than happy with how it drives now so who needs over 300bhp....
