Default Will a boost hose be covered on warranty?

Ive found a big split on the main turbo hose right around the jubalee clip on my sti8, should this be covered on my warranty? Dan

wasnt covered on warranty so its costing me £234!!!!!!!

I hope they are replacing wth a Samco for that price instead of the standard bit of black crap!!!!!
