Skinflint - Save cash on alternative stuff.
As the Finance Minister will tell you, I can be a bit tight with my cash. So, here are just a few things I have got on the cheap recently. I am not a "labels" or " Brand names" snob so bear with me. Some stuff is worth the cash but..........................
Micro Fibre Clothes - £1.98 for 2 - Dunelm. Halfrauds £3.99 and upwards
Micro Fibre Buffing Pads - 99p each - Tesco.
Wheel Cleaner - Bag of Soda Crystals makes about 5 gallons worth for £1.50, recommended by VW Driver magazine.
WD40 as a degreasant in the engine bay. Spray on/wipe off.
Computer screen spray/wet clothes for the dash and plastic (also doubles up on stubborn brake dust/flies/headlights). Free from work.
So, who else as some cash saving ideas?
