Looks great, how r u getting on in redards to turbo lag issues? Got exactly the same intercooler as that and havn't fitted it yet. Heard lots of stories about really bad lag problems.

hi mate took the car out just now and it feels so much more responsive and the boost is strong all the range butt not much lag though

it was a bit noughty to fit though took 9 hours but we had to source parts 3 times for example my washer bottle next to the fuse box would not fit back in the place had to get a import 1 because they are smaller

Topjob, I did say allow 8 hours so wasn't far off, Looking forward to seeing it on the 15th. we found cutting the bumper took longer than fitting how about you????

Regarding lag (Before mine was remapped) I would say your only talking a split second. nothing that you can't addopt your style to get round, But with a bigger turbo and remap it's like warp factor 5

The bumper always seems to take a lifetime...

A standard uk turbo should boost at 0.98bar.... what have you actually done to yours up until now under the bonnet, have you re-mapped yet or what's your plan from here ?

Looks well nice that

Out of curiosity is it posible to buy the mountings and plumbing for a front mount without buying the intercooler itself?

Cheers

Thanks for the info regarding lag...i've got a 93 wrx JDM import and can't wait to get it fitted. The standard intercooler is tiny! Been a bit worried about all the lag talk. Also got an apexi power fc ecu, yet to be fitted. With that and the de-cat and induction kit...hopefully 300-320 horses will be the result. Group buy on an Andy Forrest remap any 1?

Lag shouldn't be a problem, not if your getting it mapped,

You might to think about fueling, I would of thought the very least bigger injectors as yours has 380 as standard and max out around 300BHP, might also want to think about a fual pump and possible a pressure reg.

Check out Andy F's website regarding fualing for info

Nova's just dropped his price on his, so might be worth a little look.

My My99 Uk car, comes with 440's as standard, currently running 317 BHP on Powerstations rollers, I've not bothered with a fuel pump as mine seems to be working fine as it is, Been told the standard fuel pump is okay for 350.

I'm looking for an SX fuel reg but I yet to come accross a well priced one when funds were available, Novarally also had a good offer on his but funds are low the moment due to a holiday in thailand looming.
