Don't know how many of you take your kids to Tradegar Park or may play sports their.

However took the kids their today in my 55 plate new shape passat - yep passat and some low life smashed the window and had a rummage around inside .

What puzzles me is that I had cleaned the car yesterday inside and out and epmtied out everything that did not need to be in there so their was nothing left out at all not even any cables or cradles for a phone or satnav, no clothing CD's literally nothing on display.

According to the park warden they have had a lot of problems of late with opportunist thieves / scum breaking into a number of cars each weekend.

They had a rummage around but did not take anything - obviously my taste in CD's was not upto scratch .

Just a heads up basically guys if you do go with the kids or for any other reason - beware their are some mindless thieving scum bags about who may target your car regardless of what it is or what is on display.

No probs as you say probbly a good idea to take either your 2nd car or run around.
