Major service, seems to be powerstation in Gloucester or some seem to be heading up to API, not sure where that is mind. I wouldnt personally go off down DRJ again, and if you want theres is cvc dealer. I am sure there are smalll privateer garages who will do a good job mind, they will just have to come recomended!

API everytime, you can't go wrong with them, very pleased with the work carried out on my car.
I know it's a bit of trip but well worth it in the end, friendly, professional and not too expensive

Only Halfrauds have them on special at the moment and it seems an opportunity.

Tried telling me i needed new disc and pads after about 6000 miles, had them checked and were fine, still good another 10000 miles later and were only finally changed because they warpped and cracked but still had plenty of wear left in them.
Also when they sericed my car they were supposed to have used genuine suabru parts, but didn't. (oil filter, sump plug etc)
Just waiting till i get my plugs changed again to see what they fitted as i paid extra for HKS irdium's.

If you want somewhere fairly local. Try ACE Motorsport in Newbridge.
They specialize in building rally cars and do a lot of work on subarus, he runs his own Type r as a rally car.

Have people gone off using DRJ?
I've had no issue with them regarding servicing but I tried unsuccessfully to arrange to have my leaky front driveshaft replaced and eventually gave up.
Its so hard finding somewhere out here in Haverfordwest!!

Used API this time round, The plan was to have a VF28 turbo installed and a remap, API were the cheapest for a tweek of the ECUTEK remap. 5 days before it was going in, the clutch started slipping. Just happened to be up at API dropping Simb2's car off. So booked the car in for a exedy clutch and a lightened flywheel, also as the car was on 86,500 miles it was easier to take the engine out and do the cambelt service a couple of thousand miles early and do the clutch, flywheel and fit the turbo in one go. Have to say the price for the cambelt service was one of the cheapest I've seen. I also had a full set of samcos fitted as the standard pipes were starting to show there age. again cheaper to fit as the engine was out and having new coolent anyway.
The Service from API was far better than anyone I've used in the past, they lagged the down pipe and one of my FMIC pipes, steam cleaned the engine, added extra silicon hoses to protect the FMIC pipe work from rubbing and charged me no extra.
I was advised of some minor things that will need changing next time.
Okay, it might be a 300 mile trip for me, but well worth the time to get there.
