Unhappy just came back from powerstation

took my car up powerstation and its runnin lean in mid range said it could be the air meter just bought one off foresters hope its that it . so he turned the boost down to 0.8 bar then done the rollers had 288 bhp hope to have alot more wen i fit the air flow tomoro if it is not that anyone got any ideas wot it could be .

Had a tune and its running lean ????

Im assuming u had a power run / checkover and its running lean, not a 'tune' ?

Otherwise PS have tuned it lean in the midrange?!?!?!

Or am i missing something?

no problem . hope it is the maf . how can i tell if it is running fine after i fit the maf will i have to go back up to powerstation hope not

the one i had was 107+vat not a power run rich done the work for me and he said it was lean in the midrange he said that there is nothing he can do too it because its a 94 sti

Well you could get the emissions tested before and after at any garage with a emissions tester that should help a bit, but I would say its better to go back to a rolling road where they can test the car under load

is there a closer four wheel roller for me i live in porth near pontypridd

just pulled the plug off the maf when it was running the car cut straight out so is it working fine or can it be faulty under pressure

It could still be faulty, there is a rr in Newport but I don't know how good thier scoob knowledge is.

Take it easy if its leaning out, otherwise it could go pop I know its a pain to travell but in the long run its better to get it sorted by someone that knows what he`s doing. IMO

The rr in newport is in Westec Performance, they should be able to monitor your exhaust gas and tell you if it's running lean or not, even though i don't think they're scoob specialists, they specalize in audi, vw, seat etc.
