Police - unmarked Mondeo - CN03 AUT
All,
On my way back from the shops at lunchtime today I saw a lorry being pulled over in Bridgend by an unmarked blue Police Mondeo.
Reg: CN03 AUT
Colour: Dark Blue
Model: (1.8 or 2.0)
Standard wheels, etc. but had pop-up "Police" sign in the back and blue lights inside the rear windscreen.
You have been warned

I've heard that there are 3 about
Mondeo's....1 Dark Green and 1 Dark Blue... also I believe a Volvo but as yet don't know the colour on that.
Apparantly they are having a little session around the Newport area so just be carefull out and about the place

Yep, got followed up the A48M from Pontprennau roundabout back towards Newport by the blue Mondeo. I was giving it a bit of stick around the roundabout and down the sliproad as he joined from the directional lane from ASDA. The sixth sense kicked in and he tucked in behind me as I eased off - spotted the lights in the grill (no, they weren't flashing)- stayed behind me all the way to the M4 before going after a Zafira who passed us both at about 85.....poor bloke.
There is also a dark blue Volvo S70 saloon in Gwent - camera mounted on the dash - the only aerial is a small telephone type on the rear N/S wing. Spotted this one in a similar situation to above at Croesyceiliog near Police HQ (surprise, surprise
).
