just had the coppa copper going over my house for the last 15mins. took the car out to investigate and found a blue STI type uk surrounded by policemen further down the road. The car had a low level wrx spolier on it. Anyone lost theirs?? ( BTW this is in cardiff)

just seen the car go past my house on the back of a trailer so i'm pretty certain it was nicked and the Tracker etc kicked in - anyones?

Just had a phone call from a friend about it, happened near his home, wanted to know if it was anyone i knew...seems it wasn't stolen from the Cardiff area, more top end of the valleys..(I know where, but don't want to be specific), and the police had been tracking it for most of the journey.

well the good news is that from what i could see of the car it was in good condition i.e. no broken glass or locks, at least on the offside. I'm guessing that it was another case of nicking the keys??

Bugger that! I've heard reports round here that people are following the good cars and hoping the owners get out of the car in an ideal position.... A BMW was nicked from the robbers nicking the keys out of the blokes hand about 2 months ago!

I now keep an aluminium oven door handle in the car at all time
