The ref. seemed to have a loose interpretation of the rules.
We lost because we couldn't get the ball.
After 60 minutes, the lineout and the scrum were crap.
On two occasions the rub of the green went against us when we could have gained considerable advantage. Once with that charge-down that bounced straight to Billy-Whiz Robinson and secondly when we got dragged back to our 22 for kicking the ball dead.
Not a bad result for a game played at HQ though....

but we can hold our heads up,and as far as the ref was concerned he played the same game for both of the teams so it was fair i think
but we should have 1
and as far as line out's .what line out we handed them the ball every time if we had as much ball as them we would have stuffed them .

But he missed Dallaglio being offside all game, and, crucially, in the build up to their second try.
He also missed Cohen loosing the ball in the first try.
So I won't say he was fair or right. I'm not disputing the result, but I do feel like we have been screwed over a bit there. Still, a good effort, and next year they have to come to Cardiff!!
