Cheers lads for your advice and comments.

I guess I'll be the first scooby owner in Wales running a 57i induction kit, then.

Captain,

I have heard that they can cause a few problems with the MAF sensor, therefore putting the engine at risk . Having said that i'm sure i've read about people with them who haven't had any probs at all

so all in all, no help at all really

K+N are fine with maf sensors, Blitz, HKS etc are the ones which cause trouble.
I am running one on my 99uk car, with no problems so far! The sound is good, with a nice sucking noise at full boost! Performance is improved at the top-end but it lowers the torque a little at low revs. That said, if you set-up a good cold-air feed to it then it is a worthwhile investment.

It is not as good as a full de-cat though mate, I can assure you of that!

"with a nice sucking noise at full boost"

Ooohhhh you filthy beast.

Cheers m8 you're the only one who talks to me on here - must be something I said.

We'll have to introduce ourselves at mwr10. You can't miss me I'm the one with the handlebar moustache and flying boots.

Chocks away

I'm the small round angry one, usually found with a pint in my hand or a blazing hang-over from the night before!! (ask scoobyblue, he seems to find it amusing!!).
