Captain,
I have heard that they can cause a few problems with the MAF sensor, therefore putting the engine at risk . Having said that i'm sure i've read about people with them who haven't had any probs at all
so all in all, no help at all really

K+N are fine with maf sensors, Blitz, HKS etc are the ones which cause trouble.
I am running one on my 99uk car, with no problems so far! The sound is good, with a nice sucking noise at full boost! Performance is improved at the top-end but it lowers the torque a little at low revs. That said, if you set-up a good cold-air feed to it then it is a worthwhile investment.
It is not as good as a full de-cat though mate, I can assure you of that!

Ooohhhh you filthy beast.
Cheers m8 you're the only one who talks to me on here - must be something I said.
We'll have to introduce ourselves at mwr10. You can't miss me I'm the one with the handlebar moustache and flying boots.
Chocks away
