lightened and balanced flywheel
having my clutch changed this week cos its slipping and i'm wondering if its worth fitting a lightened and balanced flywheel and if yes, why? its a MY99 uk car fitted with a de cat and tek3.

The only thing I'd add is that its going to cost you around £60-£100 to have your old flywheel refaced, usually done as a routine job when changing your clutch to avoid judder.
MRJ quoted me around £150 for a 7.5kg flywheel, not the lightest around but not so light that you get idling problems etc.. I'm not sure of the full spec but seems good value when compared to some of the others on scoobyshop and not much more than a reface.
I'm definitely going to go for it later this month when funds allow.
