Have to say I've had the same experience.

Called in 3 times to try to get the price of a 60k service and some carpet mats.
Friday - Subaru parts/servicing guy wasn't in as his wife was in labour - yeah, fair enough
Saturday - Phoned them lunchtime to then be told that the Subaru peeps only work mornings at the weekend.
Monday - went during the day. Subaru guy was there, but they couldn't give me a price for the service or for the mats as they "hadn't had the prices from Subaru yet", but they took my number and would phone me back.
That was 3 or 4 weeks ago and I've heard nothing.

So got the car serviced at DRJ in Carmarthen, who quoted a price over the phone and could book it in the same week.
Then the following week called into the Subaru dealers in Yeovil to ask about mats. They had prices for all the mats there, and could get some of whichever ones I wanted in within 2 days.

Hanover need to smarten their ideas up if they wanna get ANY parts/servicing trade, or anything like a reasonable reputation from the south Wales Subaru community.

Hmm, not heard that but wouldn't be at all surprised - have been in a few times about parts etc and am yet to be satisfied, let alone impressed.
Will try to think to drive past on the way to/from work tomorrow and see if the signs/flags are there still

Incidentally almost got my cars air con recharged at swansea hanover. Their a multi dealership - nissan and daewoo as well as subaru and some other. But I got the feeling that they wouldn't have known which car was my scooby if I hadnt pointed it out. Could'nt see any subarus there either. DRJ are very good, get all my servicing etc done there.

Swansea Subaru or Hanover as some call it cant get insurance at the moment for the scooby's and that is why they none there.
I went in there to book my P1 in for a service and they asked what a P1 was....says it all to me
not only that but when i went up the car park to turn round, this bunch of boys run out of the garage part and stood with jaws to the floor ooking at the car so god only knows what would happen if they go their hands on it..

I personally would have to recommend Keith Price in Abergavenny.
I have dealt with Tileys for 4yrs and always thought they were a great garage until this year. Tried Keith Prices for the first time last week and there isnt much they cant tell you or do with scooby's. Their labour charges are lower than most other dealerships also which is a bonus.
Highly recommend Keith Price

I agree with scoobyp1 I have used Keith Price in Abergavenny for a year now and find them very helpful and prompt with all work that needs doing. As for Swansea Subaru I rang them on 4 occasions to get a price for a new clutch, they said that they would ring me back! that was in June and still no phone call, so I rang Keith Price and they booked the car in for 2 days later and did the work Job Done!

Last I heard was that GM don't own Subaru, but they do have a 10% stake in the company, hence the new impreza-based small Saab coming out quite soon.

Do you Hanover group (who run the dealership) or Daewoo?

Daewoo went into administration / receivership last year I think and were bought out by GM, so the company is now GM Daewoo.
But the Swansea dealership I thought were an independent franchise?
