Know how you feel...thought about setting up a Scooby Owners Hardship Fund for those who fall on hard times as a result of a major service :-(

Chin up...

Bramall in Cheltenham.

£295+VAT for 60'000 service - cheaper than Abergavenny or CVC.

£400 for front discs and pads (£90 per disc and £100 for set of pads)

£42 for alternater belt.

Is that reasonable?

Fcukin' *HOW MUCH*?!?!?!?!?

You've been had IMHO. I've just had new Pagid discs and pads on my MY00 Turbo, they were only £295 and they're *FAR* better than the Subaru ones. £295+VAT isn't too bad for the service but everything else as well is taking the ****. Sorry.

Personally, I get the service done by Subaru purely for the warranty, but anything that they say it needs gets done elsewhere or by me, they charge *far* too much anyway. It's the only thing that annoys me about owning a Subaru.

Fronts. Pagid 8 groove discs and RS421 pads from a place in Monmouth, same as the Scoobysport Group N+ stuff, just a damn sight cheaper and cheaper than standard Subaru stuff.

Or was your £400 for all 4? Mebbe a misunderstanding if so....
