Default MY00 ECU remap

Hi all,

It's been a while since I've had a Scooby mapped, so I after some advice.

What sort of price do you all pay for a remap & with whom?
I've been quoted £430,is that good? Because to me that seems expensive

Thanks
Chris

430 is about right. Possibly a bit cheap.

Avoid mapping days and any mapper that can do many cars in a day like that. They are not taking the appropriate time or care over the map.

Totally agree,

I have now used a selection of what would be considered the best mappers on several cars I have owned in the past,

In my opinion engine tuner provide the best value for money,
I had his services for pretty much the entirety of a day,
Very rare for a car to be mapped without some kind of issue, he has the facilities, staff and time to rectify any kind of issue found,

Communication recieved several days after work carried out asking if I was happy etc

In my opinion the best overall service regarding mapping I have recieved,
They were the furthest company I used as well in terms of distance and was well worth it

Exactly this.

You wont find any mapper worth his salt providing "mapping days" as they physically cannot do it while providing a decent map. My car took 3 days if I remember correctly....

I've got to be honest I've never had a problem with Doe Coe, Gorseinon. But he doesn't remap ECUTEK.

Thanks all, now I'm booked with Bob Rawle at the end of the month.
