Default Led speedo/dash

Hey guys, I recently fitted some blue led bulbs into the dash on my classic turbo 2000 as oem were not bright enough at night but now I am getting alot of spotting so im looking to see if anyone has had any better luck with perhaps some different led bulbs or smds or blue 501s?
Any help would be much appreciated
Thanks
Chris

When I bought my old RA it had the stupid VW purple bulbs in and they looked awful. I changed them back to new standard bulbs that where much brighter.

I bought the uprated standard bulbs from eBay and they where much better.

I fitted white SMD lamps as they emit light in all directions instead of the single LED that only emits forwards. That's why your getting spotting.

Troop, mine doesnt have the green filter so the bulbs are a horrible yellow and they dont spread light that well thats why i was trying something else out.

Yeah i thought as much pie, do you happen to know what smds you used?
