Default SWS Tour of Europe 2014 - photo batch 1

So here goes, a brief overview of the SWS trip of 2014 starting in Wales, travelling round Europe and then back home.

In total we covered a vast amount of miles in a short space of time but came across spectacular views, great driving roads and different cultures sharing the same passion of any petrol head

This trip took a year in planning and eventually took place from the 6th Sept to the 13th Sept.

Events of the trip are as below :

8 days
7 nights
8 countries - France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Italy, Monaco, Switzerland and then back through France heading home
2861 miles ( Magor to Magor round trip )
Average daily driving time between locations - 10hrs
7 tanks of fuel
Average MPG - 30mpg
5 different sleeping accommodations
2 ferry crossings
Lost count of how many tunnels but cannot forget the Modane 8 mile tunnel.

With what we had seen over the days, I personally accumulated just shy of 4000 photos and videos. Excessive ???? quite possibly but it was a once in lifetime trip with great company and passion.

Below are some of the photos that were taken but will add more as I get through the remainder of the photos and edit some video's, especially our home coming

Yeah we'll have to sort something out mate.

Jay had an issue within an hr of arriving in calais which we thought a possible gearbox problem but turned out to be a missing nut from gear linkage lol

Great work on the camera Matt, thanks for the public shaming of my car up on jacks, I'll never forget to tighten up a gear linkage ever again! Can't wait to see more pics that you have taken

E2.08 in Italy for Shell 98 was pretty eye watering to say the least but it is in sh*te strasse!

Without hooning or trying to chase every exotic, we managed the high 20's throughout the journey.

But the Walbro was howling at 2706 metres on the Stelvio!
