Nice pics, next time you're going up there let me know and I'll pop along.

It's a mere hop, skip and a jump for me, it's been years since I've been up there to watch a rally.

Used to up there loads in the 80s and 90s to 4 ways usually.

It's at least 3 overcoats colder though so alway best to go fully prepared .

There was loads of l200 up there managed to get through. I was gutted I wanted to see Peter lloyd but he pulled out. Left before the last stage so I'm not sure who won but the red and black focus was bloody quick and I think the proton close. It was great to see our very own Ian godney who put on a great show and must of been up there somewhere

Not sure why he was driving the Darrian as he changed this year for an Impreza WRC. If it was his yellow Darrian then that's hell of a piece of kit and a right handful.
If you've got Motors TV then it should be on possibly this Friday or the Friday after at around 9PM.

I had got to 8th overall but got the hairpin wrong at llan diello fan wrong and hit the bank and stalled

Then the last loop of 3 stages , about 3 miles into the first one it broke a front drive shaft so dropped time nursing it to the end , still managed 10th overall and third in class , so overall I'm happy with that considering to quality of the field .

Yes Damian cole won , Steve Simpson in the white S12B Impreza was second and john indri third.

The pace was very quick up there this weekend , I'll upload some incar stuff tomorrow

Got some jobs to do before rally car day , then get it ready for the jersey rally in October .

John indri was using the Darrian as his Impreza is buggered , they have this thing on the manifold called a rocket , not sure exactly what it does , but apparently it broke up inside and went in the turbo and buggered that up , a turbo for the later cars is about £7k !!

I'm glad mine is fairly basic compared to most WRC cars
