294mm grooved discs and German kevlar pads £99.99
We are currently offering our very popular 294mm grooved discs and our German made kevlar fast road pads for £99.99 a set including VAT !!
The 294mm discs are fitted to the front of all Impreza's with the Subaru embossed four pot calipers , if you see the word SUBARU on the outer face of your front calipers , then these are the discs for you , mostly seen on later classic's and also 2001 onwards WRX's. , but a lot of early cars have been changed , if your unsure , please ring me on 01656 723060 and I can advise.
Being the most popular discs on Subaru's our discs need no introduction , top quality blanks CNC machined to our own designs that work , we machine 6 curved grooves into each face to disperse gases and debris , the optimum number as we have found over the years , more grooves will take away too much braking surface and will have a negative effect on braking , more grooves will also wear your pads faster.
We see others claiming that you don't need grooved discs as standard discs will do , they don't ! The main reason for having grooved discs is to disperse the gases given off the pads when they get hot , the gases push the pads off the discs causing brake fade , grooves will disperse the gases and stop this happening , a plain disc will not do this.
The kevlar pads are the German made pads we have been selling for a long time , not the Comline pads from India , we did start selling these but found them not to be as good , and the feedback wasn't as good , although they are cheaper , we decided not to supply them anymore
All our discs come with a 12 month guarantee against warping even if you do track days
The discs supplied will NOT have painted centres , but can be supplied for £10 extra
