CDF Sti 6 speed short shifter
Is now work in progress!
I did speak about these last year but nothing came off it because I couldn't get a 6 speed car to develop them on ,. I now have my own and I have started the process
First stage is to remove the standard one, see how it all works and then start designing one up on our 3d cad .
Once happy with the design I then need to get a prototype made up and tested.
if all is well we can make our first batch up with discounts of course!
Please keep a eye on this thread for updates, plans are to have first designs made up by the end of the week

Small update .
Been taking it to bits today, and I have found that we can make the new one out of a combination of our 92-96 shifters and our 97-05 speed shifters - with an added adapter for the 6 speed . So that is great news,. well for me anyway
The oem one is very simple to remove,.. I will go into more details when I do the instructions.
What I need to do now is draw this up on cad and get the first one made - testing this how it is I can already feel how close it makes the gears feel and am quite looking forward to getting one complete now
Don't worry its not going to be this short !
The reverse link as shown on the right here is what we need to make the adapter for :
Gearknob only threaded on here just so we could move it in and out of gears
bottom half complete now
