It sounds like he wants to build the full boot lid.....tbh I'd be happy with just the lip in fibre glass.....then get it bonded on smoothed and painted up

If you wanted this in carbon I'd advise getting the full boot lid with lip already bonded otherwise we could do a fibreglass lip that you can add yourself

Funny enough mate I was looking at that the other day, I was thinking about getting one over replicating it and then using it as a base to make a ducktail boot lid. I'll have a look at getting one in and let you know prices

Good stuff mate. Really like the look of that one

What sort of prices would you expect? As an indicator?

Without seeing it I cant say for sure but from the photos I'd say around £175 in fibreglass and £280 carbon maybe.

Hi Dan, thats what I am working on at the moment but its not something that will happen quick.....the parts are going to be hard to get hold of. Aslong as you dont mind waiting I will be able to manufacture these at some point in the near future

In the mean time if anyone sees one for sale give me a shout, saves me building one from scratch

Hi there

I came across a picture of the Do-Luck carbon bootlid on Facebook and was immediately interested in it as my spoilered up one leaks like a sieve....

A few questions:

1. I have seen pictures with the keyhole there and would want that ideally, is that going to be an option on yours?

2. Got quoted £900 from Sumo Power today for one delivered to my door, up to 8 week lead time and assuming Do-Luck will still make one up. Any idea what price you are thinking and any luck liaising with Eggy about possibly borrowing his to mould?

3. Would you hate me if I had it painted to match the rest of the car?

Thanks .

P.S. mildly similar to the pic above, this is the pic I came across - https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...n-bootlid.html

Ok, just to add, I have found a couple of other forum threads with pics. The first one is based on a "Do-Luck style" bootlid and the first 3 pages are the most image-rich, with an image of a carbon boot on black Scoob on page 7 - http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2379069

Couple of images here - http://www.rexnet.com.au/forum/index...x/page__st__10
