Another day another project..
A very nice man got in touch with me from Barcelona. (Happens all the time!)
He's just purchased a classic Wagon and he'd like me to pick it up. It's on the Isle of Wight! He's bought it sight unseen, and we've never met. No problem. He asked me if we can fetch it back to the workshop and fully rebuild it for more power, better handling and brakes etc etc.
Of course it's having a stroker.
So yesterday I made the surprisingly pleasant journey over there. It's an hour on the Ferry, so chance for a great fry up and a windy walk on the deck afterwards. (I had the beans)
We made really good time, catching both ferries early. We left at 7.30 from Devon and arrived back home at 5.45.
Today we make a start on it!
