Default HSD Coilovers Introduction + Competition!

NEW QUESTION BELOW! SCROLL DOWN!

As an introduction to Scoobynet we're running a competition for HSD Coilovers! In line with our Group Buy we'll be running as of later today we're offering one Scoobynet user the opportunity to skip the queue and order at the final 40+ price of £560 with no need to wait for the end of the group buy, with free delivery to boot. Retail price is normally £745 plus £12 delivery, full specifications are below.

All you have to do is answer the following question correctly:

How many years have Driftworks been trading??

The first person to answer the question correctly wins!

This competition is limited to Impreza sets only, for GC8 and GDA/GDB 5x100 and 5x114.3 fitments. Delivery is next working day from the date of payment.

Now the blurb, a rundown of the features of the HSD HR coilover kit.

If you've got any questions please ask away!!!

The HSD HR coilover is exactly what the performance tuning scene has been crying out for. No longer do you have to accept an inferior/compromised product when spending less than £1000 on coilover suspension.

The HSD HR has been specced by HSD Europe, for our roads, and tracks, with the knowledge and experience gained by HSD Europe using the now world famous Driftworks Control System Coilover made by HSD.

HSD Coilovers use a very well respected and proven Monotube damper design combined with high quality hardware. This level of quality and performance is usually found on much more expensive suspension products. This is high end competition winning suspension available direct from the factory at affordable prices.

Due to the excellent handling characteristics of our Monotube dampers, HSD coilovers give a supple, sporty and perfectly damped ride.
They soak up bumps and jolts effortlessly, yet firm up when needed to give exceptional roadholding and handling on fast road and track.
Cheaper aftermarket dampers use a twin-tube design with low pressure gas whereas our Monotube damper design uses large diameter 44mm pistons and a much higher gas pressure to better stabilise the oil within, even under extreme and prolonged use. For Imprezas both front and rear are Inverted, offering higher strength and performance, and significantly less unsprung weight!

Ride height is fully adjustable on all our coilovers by adjusting where the mounting bracket sits on the damper.

This means a very wide range of height adjustment is possible without affecting the spring pre-load or the damper stroke length. So whether you want sporty or totally slammed, you still get the full performance of the damper.

Our 16 Stage damping adjustment allows quick, easy and accurate control of the damping so you can tune it to suit your style and setup. HSD use a 16 step adjuster to keep things simple, each click offers a sensible amount of damping adjustment, making setting the ride up for your preference easy!

Our coilovers come with Anodised Aluminium top mounts with integrated heavy duty noise-free pillowball bearings all round. This means you receive a complete package where the damper is precisely connected and working in tune with your car.
Contrary to popular belief pillowball top mounts will not make your car un-necessarily harsh. This is yet another rumour spread by companies selling the cheaper to manufacture rubber top mounts.
A wide range of camber adjustment is available on the topmounts both front and rear for Impreza fitments.

Compare our features, and more importantly the quality and performance of our coilovers to other well known brands in the market and you'll find our prices are VERY competitive. Because HSD are the manufacturing company, you are effectively cutting out the middle man and will see a price that reflects that.

At HSD Europe, we enjoy what we do and we're committed to providing excellent support to the products we sell. We have won competitions using HSD products and have years of experience using HSD coilovers on our road cars and race cars. We are always happy to help out with any questions you might have.

We're so confident you'll be impressed with the quality and performance of our coilovers that we offer a 30 day, no-quibble money back guarantee. How many other companies have enough confidence in their product to offer you that?
We can proudly stand by this offer and say that in the thousands of sets of HSD's we've sold, not one customer has ever taken us up on that offer.

Well, the winner of this has never come back to us, so I'll reinstate it. Skip the queue on the group buy, jump straight to the front and order immediately for next day delivery at £560 if you can answer a new question!!

After many event and championship wins Driftworks has drawn many sponsors to the team, name two of the sponsors that support the team cars....?

Some of the sponsors are / were:

Autospecs Ltd - Also known as japaneseusedcars.com sponsored the Driftworks cars, the S15 driven by Phil, R32 Skyline driven by James Robinson and the Chaser driven by Ben broke-Smith. Competing in the EDC, BDC, Prodrift (UK) and the JDM Allstars series.

Federal Tyres, Rota Wheels and Sky Insurance have also been or still are Sponsors for Driftworks!

Did I do good, think this is the first time I have written on Scoobynet!!

Ash.

Right! Well Scooby-S and Scooby Lydia have both got correct answers, Autospecs Ltd/Japaneseusedcars are no longer sponsors unfortunately but Federal Tyres, Sky Insurance and Rota Wheels are all current Driftworks sponsors.

I'll contact Scooby-S first and Ash you're reserve if I get no response!
