Default Pro R Alcon replacement 343mm discs and bells

We can offer replacement discs and bells for the Pro R Alcon 343mm kit , the Alcon bells have issue's with them crumbling around the outer diameter , and we have seen them do this after only a couple of years ,

It's not a very good design how the floating bobbin is fitted into the bell , it leaves a very thin wall on the outer radius on the bell , and with a reaction between the aluminium and steel , made worse because of the type of alloy used , it corrodes until it crumbles away ,

We can supply new bells made to the exact dimensions as the Alcon bells , but with a better suitable alloy , or if you are needing discs we have made them so they are bolted like many other disc makes , with 6mm bolts.

We are offering our discs and bells , bolted together ready to fit for £650 a pair including vat , which is a big saving over the Alcon ones , the discs can be supplied with 6 curved grooves or our G hook design.

We can also offer replacement 343mm x 32mm grooved discs , to fit the standard Alcon bells if needed , as well as just replacement bells for the Alcon floating bobbings.

Can ship anywhere , £10 for mainland UK , £15 for highlands , £20 to N & S Ireland , anywhere else ask for a shipping quote

Cheers Ian

Alcons seem to be prone to corrosion, I saw a pair of prodrive callipers that looked like a crunchy bar.

Hi
Unfortunately with good pads and track days , your discs will crack and heat craze like that , all discs do it , might be worth looking into fitting cool air ducting on your car to keep the discs cooler on the track , that would help.

The bells you have are the same as the ones we have here

Your bells are looking fine so nothing to worry about there yet.

When you need new discs we can do them for you , a lot cheaper than Alcon's as well , we can supply you discs to fit your bells for £350 a pair.

Your discs still have life left in them , just keep an eye on them , if you get cracks over halfway across the face of the disc , you would need to change them

Cheers Ian
