In 1992, the original Subaru Impreza WRX was launched to the world, quickly followed in 1994 by the WRX STi, both of which became overnight icon’s of the motor industry. 22 years later the fabulous new Subaru WRX STi will be the star of an incredible launch event to be held at Subaru’s Mangoletsi showroom in the beautiful countryside of Knutsford. With a rapidly filling order book for the new WRX STi, this model is proving to be a huge hit, not just in the UK but worldwide.

As well as the new model Subaru WRX STi on show, there will be in our showrooms and on display outside almost every derivative of Subaru Impreza / WRX / WRX STi ever produced and sold all over the world since 1992. Now that will be a sight to see, and photograph!

On hand during the evening will be our Subaru showroom staff to guide you through the new car, also people from our parts department, technicians from our Subaru workshop and our engine tuning expert will also be on hand to show the true potential of any Subaru.

Sounds a great event. How many have Subaru allocated for the UK market? and how many do you think will sell (The new STI)? Just a ball-park figure.

The event is getting bigger and better by the hour, thanks Phil, we have some fabulous cars coming, really looking forward to it. I believe we are only allowed 250-300 due to EU emissions regulations each year and I would say most of them will be sold by the end of May early June, especially as cars are starting to land now, and people get to look at a real car, and maybe even drive one.

Three days to go until the launch of the new Subaru WRX STi at Mangoletsi in Knutsford Cheshire.

The event starts at 6pm on Saturday 31st May 2014, and on display will be some of the finest Subaru’s in the UK, including many limited edition models. At least one model of every generation will be in our showrooms (Classic, Bugeye, Blobeye, Hawkeye, new age hatch and saloon, and the new 2015 model), and some very special, special edition cars will be on show, including an RB320, P1, WR-1, 22b, Cosworth, UK300 and a Subaru rally car.

The event is also been supported by local Subaru clubs, including Subaru Owners Club of Manchester (SOCOM), Lancashire and District Subaru Owners Club (LADS) & Cheshire and District Scoobies (CADS). Each will be displaying a number of their club member’s cars both inside and outside our showrooms.
