Probably not the right forum but, where can I get track day insurance and how much should I be looking at paying?

Try competition car insurance / Eggar Lawson (do a search on the net)

Costs vary from say £10k cover at £145 with a £2k excess...£7500 cover at £112 with a £1k excess....it varies but you'll find it mighty expensive...

My suggestion is when renewal comes up go to Tom (Rum) at Schofield Insurance (Leeds) Norwich Union policy....they extend cover to trackdays for a minimum premium per time ie; for mine it was £30k cover for £75 !!!!
