hi, just seen your post and I've looked on motorsport vision's web site amd can only see 22/april - not 29. Where did you see 29 and how much?

Booked it on easy track,
£199.00 for the full day, open pit lane, and its 105Db
There are still plenty of places left.
It is Tuesday 29th April.
iIt would be good if there would be a good few scoobies on the track.
Last time there was only 1 other scoobie, still a fantastic day though.

Hi Tim, I've found the site and will book tomorrow so I'll see you there. Just hope my car arrives in time as it's on the way over from Japan as we speak. I've also booked Donnington on May 9 Evening session.

The moor scoobies the better.
There is already another scooby at Oulton
Donninton is a track that I really want to drive at.
But the Db is only 98
The last time I had my car checked it was running 98 Db
Since then it’s had de-cat, unequal headers and up pipe, and I don't know what it is running at yet.
I will find out at Oulton park.

The last question has got to be

What car is on the way from Japan?

the car is a white 06 spec c. ive only done oulton once before ,that was in wrx that had been prodrived. nice circuit , ive done donnington a few times and you're right they are a pain with the db levels

Top car

Glad you got booked at Oulton

I got WRX with some mods.
The figures are now a bit higher than an STi
But with the change of the impreza to a 5 door hatch of which I am not too keen on. (YET)
I think I should of got an STi or even like you C spec.
But I still think my car is a top car
still have the same scooby smile I had when I first picked it up.

I think I might have to grt some new tyres before Oulton
The treads are not too bad it just front near side the letters have scrubed off the side
and a few chunks out of the corner
Think its the banked hair pin that kills the front N/S tire
and the Rumble strips for the chunks out.

Numbers are getting up for Oulton
20 cars so far, 7 off them are scoobys
a couple of evos and then some others.
last time I went to Oulton there was only 1 other scooby
we had a good blast but his was so fast down the straights.
If your arrives from japan it will be good to see mine at the side of yours
I know yours will be faster, but I want to see how much faster. with it been so much lighter it will be good to see how much faster it will be through the corners.
Getting a camera set up in the car before the track day

 

Hi Tim. mine had better arrive from Japan as I am booked on the track day and it is paid for. I too will be keen to see how much quicker it is as I used to have the wrx. I should have cameras too, so it should be a good day.

 

I'm going to take as many thing out of the car as pos. I'v been on diet lost 2st, that should help. I wont have my fat brother with me eather. any news on you car and is it going to be here on time for Oulton?

 

I spoke to Iain at Litchfields and he said that the car was due in on Saturday, so I'll have it in a week or two. So defo for Oulton

Went to Donnington on Saturday
got 2 goes on the track
1st 1 in the wet. very slippy
but Ace fun.


watched a test drive of a C spec on Utube they go like stink and with Dccd set to rear they slide like hell.

I pass Oulton everyday on my way to work...

...keep meaning to get ontrack but cant make it this month.

 

Must be good been close to track.
Its a good 90 mins with car on trailer for me.

Yes got it back all ok
had it set up for Methanol
plus STi roof spoiler
and a new set of tires, last set would of been down to the rim by dinner time.
Taking car over on a trailer, just in case!
