Donington 26th Feb £99 anyone?
Hello all,
After an excellent day at Brands on Monday I'm in the mood for more!
Donington circuit (http://www.donington-park.co.uk/trakzone/) arrange weekend trackdays at a mere £99 in Jan/Feb (jumps to £135 in March) and there's one on Sunday 26th Feb. Anyone up for that? It's the national circuit (the original and best layout; not too hard on brakes either), with a 98dB drive-by limit and they have places left at the moment. Three groups, novice/intermediate/experienced, run in 20mins rotation.
I've done an owner's club day at Donington before, but not a trakzone one. Does anyone have experience of how they run their trackdays?
cheers
Andy

normaly the events at donny run pretty smooth, but they are really really keen on the noise thing, 98 decabells, definately dont turn up with a straight through exhaust or they'll turf you off, you get one chance, then youre going home with the noise. sometimes in the winter months, if not enough guys turn up, eg. wet, freezing, they run an open pit lane, and you'll get absolutly loads of track time. the petrol will cost you more then the track day. theres everything there, from fiesta's to ferrari's. its one of the best circuits in the UK. if its wet and cold it can be really slippy so take ur time and learn the circuit,

Going on the 25th and looking forward to it.
First trackday, so will see what it's like. Won't be taking mine round, as it needs a clutch and brakes, but there to support on my Uncles RA.
