I am a track newbie and thinking of doing the Bedford Speed'n'Feed 2. I phoned Egger Lawson. Their prices look reasonable and have a plan for SIDC (£42.50 for £2000 cover, £80 for £5000 cover and £117.50 for £8000 plus many other alternatives)

Do people usually insure for the whole value of the car or a precentage of the value?

Does anybody know how the prices above compare to trackday policies from other companies?

Any help greatly appreciated.
