Cheers Dave (for the kind words).

I look forward to hearing about the results.

I'm not surprised that you forgot given how wild our lunchtime drinks got - orange juice and shandy have been the ruin of many a good man

I always used to use Eggar Lawson (AKA Competition Car Insurance) but the premiums keep going up and up. Last year I paid £55 for £6000 cover, £750 excess, multiple drivers. This year for Donnington in Februrary they wanted £99 for the same. This week they wanted £112 for £5000 cover, £750 excess.

Greenlight (who I am normally insured with) did an extension to my policy for £60 (including my mate as well) for fully comprehensive cover.

I spoke to Egger Lawson (0115 941 5255) - I am not going to say what I was quoted because it very much depends on the car/driver/amount of cover reqd etc - but it was less than Stuart for twice the cover......give em a ring guys.

Thumbs down

That peeves me somewhat Dave as I should be well known to them, I've used them lots of times, never had a claim, even done bulk deals with them to cover several days at once etc.

Also they haven't replied to my e-mail asking for a refund of the premium they had on file from Donnington when I didn't get to use it. Funny they respond to e-mail for business immediately.

Dave

similar treatment for me - about the same premium as Stuart, but for £10k cover, admittedly with a £1500 excess.
