And IM can write down all your reg numbers and refuse your next warrenty claim

I haven't seen this article yet, but isn't this against the grain of IM (Subaru) attitude towards track days?

As Ill be bringing my STI5 I couldnt give a monkeys about IM. In fact it will be interesting to see their reaction if a fine selection of imports turn up!! I guess they will be trying to unload some of their unsold PIs.

Thumbs up

I couldn't give a monkeys either. My warrenty expired about four years ago!

It's basically a publicity stunt. The event is open to anyone wanting to take their car on track with instructors on hand.

A P1 and new WRX will be there for us all to have a go in followed by a high speed lap driven by Subaru test driver Alan Skelton.

And to finish off an evening barbecue for all us petrol heads to talk ****e!!

Should be a good day, with only twenty cars on track at any one time.

If Subaru UK themselves are actually involved in this they are a bunch of hypocrites, telling the club they despise track days and then holding events like this and the recent P1 demo day at Dono!

Come off it Stef - you surely dont believe a word that IM/Subaru Uk say nowadays ??
Real shame I cant come as it would be great to have a load of imports to really wind them up - and be faster on track than their cars !!

It may be an Autocar day, but it is in 'association' with Subaru and Subaru's test driver is on hand to take you out - it obviously has full blessing from Subaru UK/IM, and they are officially represented.

Not that it really matters, and yes, just go and have a laugh at a great price.
