I've never been to a track day and although I don't really want to drive my car on one. I would like to watch others and see how it's done. Also be good to meet some like minded people.

Can I just turn up to these things if I'm not going on track? Do I need any kind of pass etc.

Oh, and how much will it be for just a spectator??

What time does it start?

Assume there will be plenty of parking, but I've heard some stories about car theft at these places. How secure is the parking?

Anytime from 8.30am, you need to go by the main entrance to the pit/paddock entrance. You park behind the pits so its not too bad at all.
