Thumbs up

I'm going Stef, but only to watch.
If you're taking part any chance of a ride round the circuit for me and a friend?

i'll be there in the morning, leave mid afternoon. Wont be in my usual little beasty as that hasnt recovered from the ring yet so will have to use the 22B instead.

I'll be taking it very easy compaired to normal so dont expect any lap records, stef should be fun to watch though.

Word of warning stef, take care through druids, it looks nowt but it can bite and like the ring, has no run off.

see you there
john

I'm still stuck at home as my n/s front wheel bearing has gone, not helped by The Ring no doubt.
As soon as it's fixed, I'm on me way!

It was a pleasure guys, took it really easy but the 22B still managed to leave most cars.

Quite surprised how slow people were going in the wet, i thought there was plenty of grip. Maybe its just the 22B is so well balanced it makes most others look pants.

When i was following the chimera i was LMAO, talk about hopeless in the wet.

The guy to thank is rsquires for the use of the 22B, cheers rich

Didn't realise you were there John or I'd have said hello. The Supra TT found out about Druids in the wet the hard way didn't he? Chassis rail is crippled, looks very expensive... I quite enjoyed the wet, even on bald P-Zeros :-) Busy wasn't it?

It wasn't until the last couple of laps that I looked at how fast we were going. You were driving so smoothly it felt like about 60 when we were doing 100!

I'm surprised that there isn't a better SIDC turnout at LTR track days. They always have a fantastic variety of cars attending.

shame we didnt meet chris.
It was very busy but on track wasnt too bad.

The supra looked a mess, shame.

I was being very gentle with the 22B, this suited the conditions, still surprised quite how slow the EVO's were in the wet though, i thought they were supposed to be the dogs.

I found it VERY slippery in the morning, that was on both the standard Bridgestones, and then on Toyo T1s. The car was very squirmy down through cascades, and most of the rest of the circuit felt like it had little grip, but htis is probably due to my very hard suspension. It was great to get out on slicks in the afternoon!

Highlight of the day was getting overtaken by an EVO (V I think) when Phil Bennett (the racing instructor) was driving my car. He then tried to catch the guy, but as we found out later he had about 100 extra bhp/lb/ft and anti lag. We didn't stand a chance, but Phil certainly tried!
