Hi mate.

Would have gone to japshow but am busy that weekend. And only being allowed 3 runs sucks.

The nitrous should be quite straightforward to install? T-fuel line. drill TB to install jets. Fit solenoids. TPS switch. Activation switch. Plumb in bottle and tubes.

Then something to retard ign?

Would be good to see how much of a difference it makes. 0.1secs per 10bhp shot of nitrous?

RWYB is a good warm-up for Japshow

you make it sound so easy! i only sent the cheque off today so i wont even get the good until next week anyway. Ive got to make sure that i get the nos/fuel mix right though, so ill have to give it a whirl on a deserted road while keeping one eye on the Knocklink and the other firmly on the road!!! hopefully ill join you in the 12s soon

i think the ignition retard is the trickiest bit.....although i plan to drop in some colder plugs to assist....

it always sounds easy but in practice rarely is.

setting up sounds a little tricky.

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers Mikee.

Would have re-arranged it for following week but cant get out of wedding commitments as I'm the best man. Still feel like sneaking out in morning although highly unlikely.

Cheers guys. 1st run was 12.09@114.24mph. Was a good clean run. Couldnt beat it with the next couple of tries so just had some fun with some heads-up.

Had a look up and down the queue to see what I could race against and came up with this drag/hotrod thing:

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y4/...B/STA50001.jpg

...and beat it too

Will post some more pics and details of runs on my old 1/4mile thread tommorrow:

Thanks Steven.

Wasnt aware that it was the record for a std UK internalled car, just that it may be for a TD05 or similar?

and when you say standard internalled......are you just referring to the pistons/cams etc? or are you talking injectors also?
