See Southern track day, Castle combe isnt to bad for you to get to
from Cornwall. Basic car will be fine, you will need to think about
brake wear i.e if they fade back off and let them cool down. Part from that you shouldnt have anything to worry about. Like all track days if you arent sure someone will be able to help. For example regulars will be able to suggest best pressures for the track.

At any track day racing is frowned upon, infact if the marshalls think you are racing you will be black flagged. Driving fast however is good and alot of fun and you learn a lot about your car and you as the driver, with a little instruction you will be surprised to see just how fast a standard car will go safely and in a controlled fashion.

Varies depending on time of year noise level, number of cars running, track etc. Japfest etc you will get a fifteen minute
slot for £20 at Castle Combe with 12 Cars on track. A full public day at Castle Combe with someone like Easy track will be £240 or £320 for a Evo day or similiar. Private or club day will range from £170 to £230 in the summer.
A day at say Brands in November could be £125 or
£170 at goodwood. I would recommend a full day if possible so you can settle into the track its quirks.

Cost on the day depends on how much track time I work on 1mm wear
per day on tyres 7/8 MPG, have never had to fill oil, Brake pads
normally get 10000 miles for pads including two full track days.
