Last time I went when you come to the junction to the main road, turn right and carry on for a few miles. There is a shell garage on your left with Optimax.
I think that is a Jet garage.

Does anyone know where the nearest Optimax garage is to Croft, or failing that a garage that sells SUL.

regards,

greg

Scotch corner services sell Esso SUL. I think that there is a Shell garage nearby but not sure exactly where.

There is a Shell garage approx. 4 miles away in the West End of Darlington. Left out of the circuit, left at the junction, through Croft for about 1 1/2 miles, straight across the roundabout at Reg Vardy's, through Blackwell, straight across the next roundabout for about a mile, turn right at the 'double roundabout' and it is 100 yds on the left. Cheaper than the JET garage, currently at 77.9p/litre.
If this is for the RS Track day in July, just follow me I'll be there (and needing to fill up at lunchtime)
Neil.

Woodlands Road Garage, Woodlands Road, Darlington. Optimax.
From Croft, follow signs for Darlington and on the outskirts at the Reg Vardy roundabout take the second exit.(If coming off the A1M/A66M you take the first exit at this roundabout)
Up a small hill and on to the next roundabout with a BP on RHS. Straight on at this roundabout for 1ml to a mini roundabout. Fork right and 50yds at another mini fork right again. 300yds on RHS.

Steve,

Memory like a sieve, Jet is yellow livery so must have thought it was a shell garage. lol!

Sounds a bit complicated finding Optimax. Just buy a few jerry cans, saves all the hassle!

Damian.

Robbo: Not quite. I thought it was necessary to clarify to avoid total strangers getting lost.
Sorry if I have upset you, it was not my intention.
